Easter Sunday

Easter is coming up soon. I was in walmart just yesterday with the little man and saw all the Easter goodies out there already. Man its gonna be a fun one this time. Skylar is gonna have a great time. The older he gets the more involved he becomes and this year we are gonna do the egg painting with him. Cant wait! I might just have to do another Easter one of that theme....I spent a few hours the other night drawing up lephrachaun kids. THEY TURNED OUT CUTE! So there will be that theme coming here as well. But Here is the new Easter theme Easter Sunday in the store this morning along with the cluster frames and quick pages. These kids turned out so cute. Took a religious spin on the Easter theme this year drawing up the kids in a prayer pose. Enjoy!

    Thanks Vicky! That was the general idea. I have had a lot of requests for religious themes so I thought I would merge it since Easter can often be very religious.

      Not only can it be very religious, but Easter IS a "religious" holiday. Over the years mankind has decided to remove Christ from it and focus on other elements. If He hadn't died on the cross and raised from the dead, there would be no Easter. Thank you for putting the focus back where it belongs. (Sorry, I don't mean to preach!)

      I think I may of simply worded it poorly cause you are right. The origins of Easter is indeed religious. There are so many who dont practice or beleive or have their own religions yet still enjoy the tradition of bunnies and egg hunts. Its nice to do something that caters to all who partake for what reason they choose to. Additionally you are right its been changed in many ways for many reasons. I think one of those was to make it fun for kids which I have no doubt the candy companies encouraged whole heartedly. LOL
