Baby mine Freebies 7 and 8

Last few days were really crazy for me. Hubby was smoking a hookah with a friend of his that was over the evening before last. Im not a smoker so cant really say what the big hype is all about but apparently its flavored tabacco of some kinda. Smells really good though Ill have to say that. However I really would love to smack to dummy who designed the hookah. I mean seriously did noone consider that a lot of people are gonna tip it just a bit at some point. There is a block of charcoal that sits on top of the thing to burn the tabacco inside it and this thing just sits on top. Nothing to hold it in place, nothing to protect it from falling off and if you happen to be smoking it over carpet well red hot charcoal landing on carpet? You get the idea. And this is precisely what happened. Of course he grabs it with his hand burns his hand and drops it again so 1 burn becomes to and then another burn before he actually gets it back off the carpet and we got a damage about a foot by a foot in diameter. OH MY GOD! I was ready to kill him cause I just finished telling him to put something down like a rug or towel incase something fell. Leave it to a man to not listen until its too late.

Didnt sleep too well that night cause I was rather worried about how much this was gonna cost us to fix. Thankgod our landlord is a sweetie cause she is gonna call in the carpeting company to patch just the burned area and not make us pay to replace the entire room. But the worrying had me up at 4 am unable to sleep so I ended up passing out later that day once the landlord headed back to the office. Yesterday was a day of running chores. Picked up a birthday present for my oldest and shipped that off to Japan and wow it costed as much to send it as it did to buy it! LOL Go figure. The heat was in the 110s and when I got home OMG I just passed out. That sun drains you!
